Z LIike ZEN : ” Japanese form of Buddhism that stresses the importance of meditation more than the reading of religious writings..”

Pain, discomfort, disability to practice sport or usual activities when having a hemarthrosis or other bleedings, frustration…or any other momentaneous situation that don’t let you flow and be calm…USE MEDITATION, or VISUALIZATION.

You don’t not necessarily have to be part of a religious group, but you can take advantage of some of their methods and practices.

It is proved that through relaxation, and visualizing (giving an image to your pain for example) the pain as an object that can be manipulated…the human being can manipulate “pain” and not feel it anymore by self-hypnosis.

The thing is to start this kind of approach that requires:

1. an open mind to alternatives different than the usual pain killers

2. faith in your own capacity of relaxation and own power of imagining

3. create a space/time in your schedule

4. practicing

In the next post I will invite people with hemophilia to discuss and do their comments on their experience with PAIN. I am very interested in this field of self awareness, hipnose and visualization. I have myself experienced the power of visualization and breathing techniques to control pain and facilitate healing. IT WORKS.
