Arte com o próprio sangue ! / Self portrait with his own blood: options?

WE  CAN ALSO DONATE BLOOD OR PLATELETS …IF WE CANNOT DO ART!!

Marc Quinn took samples of his own blood everyday during 6 months and molded his self portrait. It is made of his own FROZEN  blood and has to be kept that way…always  under zero because otherwise it melts, clots and decomposes!
What do you think of that bloody art????

O artista Marc Quinn tomou amostras de seu sangue durante 6 meses e  as guardou para moldar seu próprio rosto. A escultura é feita de sangue congelado e representa a quantidade de sangue que circula no corpo humano…e tem de ficar assim, sempre abaixo de zero centígrados..senão sabemos o que acontecería…efémero é nosso sangue: derrete, coagula e apodrece.!!

O que achou desta arte sangrenta???

After one year and a half blogging , I need to share something with you people: I hate to be on a plane…or put it that way: I can’t relax “knowing that i am in the AIR” and last year 2008, I have been travelling more than 40 times (between landings and take offs)..I don’t know how I MANAGED: i know yes!! I had the help of my aims (between workshops for hemophilia, travels to take care of my father who was ill, travels with my family for vacations -that was easier to live-) + 5 drops of an authorized ansiolytic (thanks to modern times and pharmaceutical advances):)

SO I am a psychologist but, although I can fly this year without taking my drops , sometimes i just say to myself : TODAY I AM NOT ABLE TO JUST BREATH AND SURRENDER . i BELIEVE MY FEAR IS ABOUT LOSS OF CONTROL, SINCE I AM not driving the damn thing,  and I can die. So  I HAVE TO TRUST THE STATISTICS.

Este é o auto retrato do artista Brasileiro VIK MUNIZ. Chama-se Auto-retrato, 1999, Gotas de sangue. MAS O CURIOSO é QUE Não é sangue de verdade! que pena porque achava que Muniz podería ter ousado mais

Pesquisei para saber qué sangue é esse?….achei que fosse do artista, para mim sería coherente, forte…Resultado: o sangue é fake, sangue falso.

Gostei bem menos da obra agora. Prefiro artistas mais radicais.NO MASP ESTÁ  uma belíssima exposição do artista Vik Muniz..Vá visitar!

I investigated and the self portrait  blood drops isn’t REAL BLOOD ..IT IS FAKE! Too bad, I prefer more radical artists!!

but the idea is great.
